Warranty Terms

vivo Mobile Communication Co., Ltd. ("vivo"), located at No. 1, vivo Road, Chang'an, Dongguan, Guangdong, China, warrants that the vivo product (including any included technical accessories) purchased from our sales platform vivo-official.com will function properly during the warranty period defined below, provided it is used in accordance with its intended use and the instructions, and the following conditions are met.

Note

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights related to the product's conformity, nor does it affect your statutory claims against the seller in the event of non-conformity.
Warranty Period
The warranty period begins on the date the product is delivered to you or the purchase/invoice date and is:
• 24 months for the mobile phone and its integrated battery, and
• 6 months for technical accessories (charger, charging/data cable, headphones) included with the mobile phone.

Warranty Extension

In addition to the above-mentioned periods, vivo offers a warranty extension for selected products. The warranty extension is only valid under the following conditions:
• For all vivo smartphones purchased from October 16, 2025, you receive an additional 12-month warranty on the entire device.
Warranty extensions only apply to devices purchased from the official online shop vivo-official.com. A repair must be carried out by an authorized vivo partner to qualify.

If a defect occurs during the warranty period, vivo will, at its sole discretion, provide one of the following services within the statutory time limits:
• Free repair of the product, or
• Free replacement of the product with an equivalent product.

Warranty Conditions

When requesting warranty service (repair or replacement), a copy of the invoice or proof of purchase must be submitted, showing the product name, model/type designation, and the date of purchase, so that vivo can verify that the product is still within the warranty period.
Without a copy of the invoice, vivo may refuse warranty service.

Before handing over or shipping the product to vivo:

Back up all personal information, data, and apps stored in the product and then delete all personal data from the device. If applicable, remove any storage media, SIM cards, or accessories not included in the scope of delivery.
vivo assumes no liability for loss or damage to data, apps, SIM cards, or removable storage media.
If the defect also affects technical accessories (charger, charging/data cable, headphones) that you purchased with the mobile phone, please include them as well.
A description of the defect or malfunction will make it easier for vivo to analyze the problem. Use secure packaging for transport to avoid damage.

Exclusion of Warranty

Warranty claims are excluded if you do not provide a copy of the invoice or proof of purchase showing the product name, model/type designation, and date of purchase, and/or if you have not followed the instructions for use and maintenance included with the product.
Warranty claims are also excluded for damage caused by:
normal wear and tear, improper operation, use of non-original accessories, failure to comply with safety regulations, force (e.g., impact), misuse, negligence, accident of any kind, penetration of liquids or food, corrosion, rust, or incorrect voltage.
Unauthorized repair, disassembly, or modification attempts (e.g., removing the battery) by you or third parties not authorized by vivo will also void the warranty.

Modifying or replacing the original operating system (e.g., rooting or installing a custom ROM), as well as removing or tampering with the serial number or IMEI, will also void the warranty.

Limitation of Liability

Apart from the warranty expressly provided above in this document, vivo makes no other warranties with respect to the device, its quality, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by local law, vivo shall not be liable for any unforeseeable damages resulting from a breach of this warranty, nor for lost profits or revenue, nor for any other damages caused by the use of or non-use of the device.
